Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions
- good communication skills
- ability to perform physical cleaning tasks including lifting and moving supplies
- ability to use cleaning equipment safely
- availability to work various shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends
- completion of all mandatory training programs

- ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- ability to write simple correspondence
- ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints
- good working knowledge of department-related computer systems such as bed management systems
- completion of required mandatory educational training
Job Duties
- adhere to all standards of behavior and exhibit excellent customer service
- communicate with patients, visitors, and customers using designated scripting and engagement techniques
- clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, public areas, corridors, medication storage rooms using approved chemicals and procedures
- clean patient beds, furniture, light fixtures, ceiling vents, windows, window coverings, restroom fixtures, IV poles, murphy beds, and other equipment
- replenish supplies, remove biomedical waste, trash and soiled linen, and change curtains as needed
- complete patient room and bathroom cleaning daily to accommodate discharges and admissions using approved procedures
- maintain regular attendance and comply with all hospital policies and standards
- adhere to standards of precaution, SDS, and hand hygiene
- complete all mandatory training and participate in quality assurance activities
- maintain productivity and volume standards
- participate in other related duties as assigned
