- Basic data entry skills for bed tracking system
- Strong attention to detail in inspection and cleaning

Job Duties
- Clean occupied patient rooms including dusting, disinfecting, mopping, restocking supplies, pulling trash, and inspecting rooms
- Clean discharge rooms swiftly to prepare for incoming patients
- Clean support areas and critical care units such as nurses stations, lounges, intensive care units, and isolation rooms
- Enter data accurately into the bed tracking system
- Inspect ancillary and patient care areas regularly
- Serve as team leader by planning and scheduling tasks, making work assignments, training staff, controlling bed tracking, and inspecting all hospital areas
- Perform floor care including stripping, waxing, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, bonnet cleaning, and carpet extraction
- Train and instruct new housekeeping staff in hospital policies and procedures
