Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Must be able to respond appropriately to written and verbal instructions
- Six months to one year of housekeeping service delivery or floor maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work well under time constraints
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to work independently
- Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions

Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping project work including floor care and carpet care functions within assigned areas
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete various housekeeping and maintenance tasks
- Follow all departmental procedures and protocols accurately
- Practice standard precautions, blood-borne pathogen safety, and hazardous communication guidelines
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced and occasionally stressful environment
- Make independent decisions regarding job responsibilities
- Train other employees on project techniques and operating standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment
- Uphold personal hygiene and dress code standards
- Practice good public relations and comply with all safety regulations
