- ability to work on first shift
- capability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
- physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- exposure to hospital and cleaning related risks including odors, fluids, sharps, and chemicals
- ability to use various communication methods including electronic
- willingness to follow safety protocols and environmental policies

Job Duties
- perform a wide variety of specialized and routine cleaning functions throughout the hospital and professional office building
- operate specialized cleaning machines and use designated techniques
- follow environmental policies and procedures
- collaborate with patient care team members to consolidate work and solve problems
- maintain patient care environments focused on patient needs and expectations
- handle exposure risks including blood, body fluids, and cleaning chemicals safely
- contribute initiative by suggesting innovative ideas and improving team efficiency
