Job Requirements

  • Must have three years of experience in health care environmental services
  • Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
  • Possess basic knowledge of how to dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize
  • Ability to adhere to infection control policies and procedures
  • Availability to work day shifts
  • Commitment to SPHP Standards of Behavior

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years experience in healthcare environmental services
  • Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients
  • Ability to follow infection control policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
  • Demonstrated responsibility and ability to work independently
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members

Job Duties

  • Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties
  • Assist the Supervisor with planning, scheduling, staff oversight, inventory, and special projects
  • Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure cleanliness of buildings
  • Thoroughly clean rooms following training policies
  • Comply with infection control policies and procedures
  • Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families, and staff
  • Respond pleasantly to all requests
  • Communicate problems encountered during routine to Housekeeping Supervisor
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director
  • Demonstrate SPHP Standards of Behavior
