Job Requirements
- Must have three years of experience in health care environmental services
- Candidate must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Possess basic knowledge of how to dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize
- Ability to adhere to infection control policies and procedures
- Availability to work day shifts
- Commitment to SPHP Standards of Behavior
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years experience in healthcare environmental services
- Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and patients
- Ability to follow infection control policies and procedures
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- Demonstrated responsibility and ability to work independently
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping and floor care duties
- Assist the Supervisor with planning, scheduling, staff oversight, inventory, and special projects
- Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure cleanliness of buildings
- Thoroughly clean rooms following training policies
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families, and staff
- Respond pleasantly to all requests
- Communicate problems encountered during routine to Housekeeping Supervisor
- Perform any other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director
- Demonstrate SPHP Standards of Behavior
