Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds
- physically able to perform cleaning duties
- must comply with infection control policies
- follow all designated cleaning procedures
- able to work part-time day shifts
- possess basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- basic computational skills
- knowledge of cleaning techniques such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
Job Duties
- Thorough room cleaning as per training policies
- comply with infection control policies and procedures
- maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families and staff
- respond pleasantly to all requests
- communicate problems encountered during routine to Housekeeping Supervisor
- perform other duties assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor or Director
- carry out responsibilities of housekeeping effectively
