Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, safety management, or related field
- 15+ years of EHS experience in complex manufacturing for senior role
- 8+ years of environmental compliance experience for mid-level role
- 5+ years of EHS experience including site leadership for Ohio role
- Certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, TSCA regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and develop strategic plans
- Bilingual skills are a plus for some positions
Job Qualifications
- 15+ years EHS experience in complex manufacturing
- Proven people leader with certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred
- Experience with ISO 45001 and 14001
- 8+ years of environmental compliance experience in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations
- CHMM or ISO 14001 experience preferred
- 5+ years of EHS experience including 2+ years in site leadership
- Strong grasp of EHS regulations, safety systems, and reporting
Job Duties
- Lead a team of EHS professionals across multiple disciplines
- Execute site-wide environmental, safety, and sustainability programs
- Manage regulatory relationships including OSHA, EPA, NJDOL and third-party audits
- Own and drive the Serious Injury & Fatality Prevention Program
- Develop strategic roadmap and manage EHS budget
- Lead air, water, and waste compliance programs
- Manage all environmental permits, licenses, and reporting
- Implement and track sustainability KPIs including Scope 1, 2, and 3
- Support ISO 14001 and related audits
- Lead all EHS and sustainability efforts at the plant level
- Oversee regulatory compliance and permitting including OSHA, RCRA, TSCA
- Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Build a proactive safety culture in partnership with operations
