Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferably in an applicable scientific discipline such as Environmental Engineering or Medical Technology or equivalent knowledge and experience
- advanced certification such as CSP, ASP, or CIH highly preferred
- working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to health and safety and environmental protection
- minimum 5 years' experience with EHS policy and compliance issues
- strong organizational skills and ability to plan and execute projects simultaneously
- analytical ability and knowledge of business processes
- ability to create and deliver effective training materials
- proficiency with Microsoft Windows Office Suite
- strong training skills for online and in-person delivery
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Oversee occupational health and safety matters related to facility personnel
- develop and maintain a systematic occupational health and safety management program
- evaluate deficiencies and implement written policies and procedures
- manage compliance matters and assist in federal health and safety regulations compliance
- oversee environmental matters related to facilities and products
- serve as a contact regarding environmental compliance issues
- audit sites for environmental and safety compliance
- develop and deliver employee safety trainings
- advise EHS Manager and Site Director on EHS needs and regulatory compliance
- work with management of change/process safety elements including document control
- develop compliance and other necessary training
