Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- ability to work full-time day shift 6:30am to 3:00pm
- ability to follow safety and infection control guidelines
- attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- experience buffing, burnishing, stripping and/or waxing floors preferred
- ability to follow approved cleaning procedures
- basic knowledge of operating cleaning equipment
- dependable and punctual
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Clean patient and non-patient care areas according to schedule and approved procedures
- transport and secure trash, biohazardous waste, and soiled linen
- operate equipment for hard surface and carpet floor care
- buff, burnish, strip and wax floors
- maintain cleanliness to ensure a safe environment
- comply with health and safety standards
- assist with inventory and supply restocking
