Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience preferably in manufacturing or food production
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Ability to stand or walk up to 90 percent of the shift
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to follow safety policies and wear required PPE
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing, pulling, pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and stooping
  • Visual acuity including near and far vision, color perception, and full range of hand and arm movement
  • Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and company policies
  • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed
  • Positive work ethic and dependability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience preferably in manufacturing or food production
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on production line equipment
  • Proficiency in SAP and basic math skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of GMP, SQF, HACCP, FSMA food safety regulations
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team-first mindset
  • Positive attitude, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Operate basic packaging machinery including depalletizers, palletizers, conveyors, forklifts
  • Complete equipment changeovers and resolve operational issues promptly
  • Use SAP, IQS, MII, and Weaver systems to maintain packaging flow
  • Perform routine equipment operation checks
  • Inspect products for correct labeling, alignment, and packaging
  • Execute manual packing and palletizing tasks
  • Follow FIFO inventory methods and document shipments in SAP
  • Adhere to GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Assist team members and adapt to operational changes
  • Contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals
  • Complete production paperwork accurately and report issues
  • Participate in 5S continuous improvement efforts
