Job Requirements

  • At least two years of previous culinary experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
  • Must have basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • California Food Handlers Certification

Job Qualifications

  • Basic sushi preparation and recipe knowledge
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Ability to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare and present sushi dishes according to recipes and standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
  • Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure efficient operation
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Manage inventory and report supply needs
