- Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- California Food Handlers Certification
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Strong work ethic and team player mentality

Job Duties
- Prepare basic and intermediate cooking tasks including soups, sauces, and stocks
- Execute frying and broiling techniques
- Prepare and assemble sushi dishes following recipes
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Manage multiple kitchen stations as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards
