Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 1 year experience in pastry, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and evenings
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Ability to follow food hygiene and health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Must maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas

- At least 1 year of experience in pastry, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons, and evenings
- Positive attitude

- Ability to multitask in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Work day-to-night operations of the pastry and bakery section of the kitchen
- Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, etc. following Bern's Steak House recipes
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the dessert offerings
- Follow proper handling and right temperature of all food products throughout the entire shift
- Decorate pastries and desserts using different types of icings, toppings etc. and ensure the food presentation will be beautiful and exciting
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to supervisor immediately
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings
