Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
- Ability to perform basic cooking skills
- Ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate weights
- Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid California Food Handlers Certification required
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
- Minimum 2 years of previous line cook experience preferred
- Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Able to work independently on single kitchen stations
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Must hold valid California Food Handlers Certification
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe standards and quality guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations
- Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen leadership
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with inventory and stock rotation as needed
- Work assigned shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Support team efforts to deliver timely and efficient food service
