Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of line cook experience preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to perform basic cooking skills
  • Ability to stand and walk long distances for extended periods
  • Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate weights
  • Flexible to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid California Food Handlers Certification required

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or related hotel cooking experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of previous line cook experience preferred
  • Ability to perform all basic cooking skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently on single kitchen stations
  • Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
  • Must hold valid California Food Handlers Certification

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe standards and quality guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned kitchen stations
  • Communicate effectively with team members and kitchen leadership
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with inventory and stock rotation as needed
  • Work assigned shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Support team efforts to deliver timely and efficient food service
