Job Requirements

  • At least two years of previous line and banquet dining experience
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to perform cooking techniques including soups, sauces, stocks, frying, and broiling
  • able to work multiple kitchen stations
  • physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • able to handle moderate physical tasks
  • California Food Handlers Certification
  • flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Good communication skills
  • previous banquet experience preferred
  • culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • able to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
  • able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
  • requires moderate supervision and training
  • ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances
  • ability to push, pull, and carry moderate amounts of weight
  • California Food Handlers Certification required
