Job Requirements
- At least two years of previous line and banquet dining experience
- culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- strong communication skills
- ability to perform cooking techniques including soups, sauces, stocks, frying, and broiling
- able to work multiple kitchen stations
- physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- able to handle moderate physical tasks
- California Food Handlers Certification
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Good communication skills
- previous banquet experience preferred
- culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
- able to perform basic and intermediate cooking skills
- able to work multiple stations in the kitchen
- requires moderate supervision and training
- ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances
- ability to push, pull, and carry moderate amounts of weight
- California Food Handlers Certification required
