Job Requirements
- applicant must be 21 years of age or older
- must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- high school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant maintenance experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- ability to read and write in English and possess good verbal communication skills
- basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages
- ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
- valid driver's license with periodic driving record checks
- physically capable to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs with ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance in various work environments including confined spaces
- knowledge of building management systems strongly preferred
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- two years of related experience in maintenance fields such as plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, kitchen equipment, or related training
- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and Word
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- basic math skills including adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- problem-solving abilities involving data collection and drawing valid conclusions
- valid driver's license
- knowledge of building management systems preferred
Job Duties
- perform journeyman to advanced level maintenance, repairs, and support in general maintenance, plumbing, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical devices
- notify maintenance supervisor or manager concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, and equipment
- receive and execute work assignments via HotSOS and complete work orders as directed
- ensure OSHA compliance at Hollywood Casino & Hotel and actively participate in safety compliance
- interact effectively across departmental lines including guests, vendors, and team members
- perform other duties as assigned for departmental needs
