Job Requirements
- Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
- High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience in maintenance fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to define problems and draw conclusions
- Must possess a valid driver's license with subject to periodic driving record checks
- Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical activities such as reaching, bending, twisting, and balancing
- Knowledge of building management systems strongly preferred
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two years of related experience in plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, electrical, kitchen equipment, or course-related training experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and Word
- Ability to read and write in English with good verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, and percentages
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Knowledge of building management systems strongly preferred
Job Duties
- Perform journeyman to advanced level general maintenance, repairs, and support functions in areas such as plumbing, kitchen and refrigeration equipment, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical devices
- Notify Maintenance Supervisor or Manager concerning needs of major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, cooling, plumbing, and equipment
- Receive work assignments via HotSOS, execute assignments and complete work orders as directed
- Accountable for OSHA compliance and active participation in safety compliance at Hollywood Casino & Hotel
- Interact effectively across departmental lines including guests, vendors, and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet departmental needs
