Job Requirements
- minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
- general tools and equipment knowledge
- ability to perform maintenance activities in guest rooms such as plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing hardware and electrical equipment including lamps, air conditioners, HVAC and AC ducts
- ability to maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and information
- ability to ensure security of guest room access and hotel property
- ability to read and understand test equipment, measuring devices, and safety manuals
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work independently

Job Duties
- assist the Director of Engineering with day-to-day maintenance of the hotel
- complete maintenance work orders promptly following hotel procedures
- perform maintenance on guest room plumbing including plunging toilets and unclogging drains
- repair various hardware issues and electrical equipment such as lamps and air conditioners
- maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information
- ensure security of guest room access and hotel property
- communicate effectively and work independently
