Job Description

Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a Florida Class E driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security and customs badging
- Must be able to obtain and maintain airfield driving privileges
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Minimum six years of related experience including supervisory
- Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
- Experience in contract negotiation and administration
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, Economics, Finance, or Aviation
- Six years of progressively responsible experience in business and financial planning and negotiation
- Four years of supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of airport financial management principles
- Extensive experience in aviation-related commercial or business development preferred
- Graduate degree in related field preferred
- Ability to manage complex business projects and teams
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management
Job Duties
- Develops, implements and maintains strategic revenue growth forecasts and concession development plans
- Develops and implements airport business strategies to attract new business enhancing non-aviation revenue
- Maintains effective relations with existing tenants and users while attracting new business
- Develops and administers community relations, public information and corporate communication efforts
- Oversees drafting and negotiation of leases and contract compliance
- Prepares financial reports and analyses related to revenue and profitability
- Interacts with and responds to potential tenants and other interested parties
- Develops goals, policies and procedures for the division and department
- Prepares and monitors division budget and reports
- Represents the department before stakeholders to promote business development
- Serves as lead negotiator for leases, agreements, and amendments
- Collaborates with county agencies for project alignment and compliance
- Oversees real estate and concession development projects
- Participates in issue resolution related to facility operations and construction
- Performs related administrative work as assigned
