Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
- Technical certifications in HVAC electrical or plumbing preferred
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance programs and project management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems plumbing and electrical systems
- Excellent supervisory skills and team leadership abilities
- Solid understanding of budgeting principles and facilities management
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand walk and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions including heat cold and noise
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Certified Engineering Operations Executive (CEOE) or similar certification preferred
- Experience with hotel maintenance management systems preferred
Job Duties
- Supervises and coordinates the activities of the engineering and maintenance team including hiring training and performance management
- Develops and implements preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset lifespan
- Manages the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency
- Oversees plumbing and electrical systems maintenance ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Manages and tracks the engineering department's budget ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial guidelines
- Leads and manages facility-related projects ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards
- Ensures the effective management of the hotel’s facilities addressing maintenance requests and resolving issues promptly
