Job Requirements

  • Minimum of five years experience as a Chief Engineer in a full-service hotel or multiple properties
  • Ability to lead and manage maintenance staff
  • Strong technical knowledge of engineering and maintenance
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant certifications a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years experience as a Chief Engineer in a full-service hotel or managing multiple properties
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance, engineering, and hotel operations
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Relevant technical certifications preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily maintenance operations for the hotel’s physical facilities
  • Ensure upkeep and proper working condition of all guest and service areas
  • Maintain standards, guidelines, and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Provide quality customer service while assuring clean and safe environments
  • Manage and lead the engineering and maintenance teams
  • Schedule and coordinate preventive maintenance and repair work
  • Monitor and control maintenance budgets and resources
