Job Requirements
- Must be U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations
- Willingness to work onsite in Clearwater, Florida
- Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally
- Capable of sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for extended periods
- Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and repetitive movements
- Must be able to follow safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited university
- Junior or senior year level preferred
- Ability to work safely in an engineering environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with CAD software preferably Solidworks
- Strong problem-solving skills using sound judgment and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Understand and implement design direction from Project Engineers using Solidworks or equivalent CAD software
- Follow standard drawing practices to produce drawings for material fabrication
- Know and apply GD&T principles is a plus
- Collect and analyze data to form conclusions and suggest next steps to meet product goals
- Discuss work products with Engineering and Operations staff and management
- Perform test and evaluation tasks under the guidance of Project Engineers
