Job Requirements

  • Must be U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations
  • Willingness to work onsite in Clearwater, Florida
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally
  • Capable of sitting, standing, reaching, bending, and moving for extended periods
  • Ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary
  • Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and repetitive movements
  • Must be able to follow safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited university
  • Junior or senior year level preferred
  • Ability to work safely in an engineering environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with CAD software preferably Solidworks
  • Strong problem-solving skills using sound judgment and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Understand and implement design direction from Project Engineers using Solidworks or equivalent CAD software
  • Follow standard drawing practices to produce drawings for material fabrication
  • Know and apply GD&T principles is a plus
  • Collect and analyze data to form conclusions and suggest next steps to meet product goals
  • Discuss work products with Engineering and Operations staff and management
  • Perform test and evaluation tasks under the guidance of Project Engineers
