Job Requirements
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
- Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations
- Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills
- High school education and relevant training and experience required
- Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates
- CPR training required
- First aid training preferred
- Additional language ability preferred
- Several years of experience in engineering and maintenance preferably within the hospitality industry, is essential
- Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred and technical training in HVAC, plumbing or electrical systems is also beneficial

Job Duties
- Maintain the hotel including guest rooms, public areas, and back of house spaces
- Issue work requests to Engineering staff including routine maintenance and emergency repairs
- Manage team of engineers and provide guidance and support
- Develop and upkeep preventative maintenance program including inspections and timely repairs
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards
- Manage emergency response plans and safety training for staff
- Track maintenance logs, work orders, and equipment service schedules
