Job Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Flexible and able to work long hours
- Ability to exert heavy physical effort including lifting over 100 pounds occasionally
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to listen and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Attendance at all required meetings and training
- Compliance with hotel standards
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Ability to understand and apply complex information

Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred
- Coursework in trade school or college in related field is helpful
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Customer service oriented approach
- Willingness to attend meetings and training sessions
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Professional appearance and grooming
- Ability to work under hotel standards and regulations

Job Duties
- Painting touch ups, corrections, and fixes
- Drywall repair and replacement
- Make repairs to hotel air conditioning system including changing filters, cleaning coils, and replacing motors
- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, electrical systems
- Take required readings on equipment and test cooling tower
- Replace and program televisions as needed
- Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs, and fixtures
- Perform furniture repair
- Replace and repair pumps
- Perform plumbing repairs including clogged drains, copper pipe repairs, changing washers and handles
- Understand and read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Trace and repair all types of water lines
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment
- Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records
- Perform and maintain work in compliance with local, state, and federal codes
- Test, clean, and repair swimming pools and spas
- Repair all types of wall coverings
- Repair and program hotel electronic lock system
