Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance and painting
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Basic computer proficiency
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies

- Some experience in general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting
- Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance is a plus
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to communicate professionally

Job Duties
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
- Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in multiple technical areas such as air conditioning, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, and energy conservation
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repair on all types of equipment including plumbing and electrical components
- Program TVs and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before maintenance work
- Perform repairs on landscaping and sprinkler systems
- Follow company and safety policies and procedures while reporting any hazards or injuries
- Maintain uniform and personal appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and adhere to quality expectations
- Develop and maintain positive work relationships
- Speak clearly and professionally
- Move and lift objects up to 50 pounds
- Use stairs, ramps, and ladders
- Enter and locate work-related information using computers
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested
