Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previous engineer or maintenance experience or equivalent training
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crawling, and climbing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Trade school coursework in related field preferred
- Previous engineer or maintenance experience or equivalent training
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal codes
- Ability to work flexible hours including holidays and weekends
- Good communication and guest service skills
Job Duties
- Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs
- Install or repair sheetrock and other wall coverings
- Paint designated areas and items
- Install and replace basic electrical fixtures including light switches, receptacles, bulbs, and fixtures
- Repair furniture
- Install, replace, and program televisions
- Perform minor plumbing functions
- Replace and repair heating and cooling pumps and perform preventative maintenance on units
- Trace and repair all types of water lines
- Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment
- Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records
- Perform and maintain work in accordance with local, state, and federal codes
- Monitor guest satisfaction scores and work to increase departmental and overall guest satisfaction
- Work as a bell attendant during staffing shortages or peak check-in/out periods
- Follow Service Recovery Guidelines
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment, and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
