Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance
Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
Physical ability to perform manual labor and handle heavy objects

Job Qualifications

Technical or trade school certification is a plus
At least 1 year of experience in general maintenance, preferably in hotels or commercial properties
Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical ability to handle manual labor and heavy objects

Flexibility to work variable hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

Conduct regular and thorough inspections of the entire property
Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing repairs, electrical work, and carpentry
Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and provide effective solutions
Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other equipment
Maintain and enhance furniture, fixtures, and equipment in guest rooms, common areas, and the restaurant
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize disruptions
Contribute to preventive maintenance programs and keep detailed maintenance records
Follow established safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
