Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled time unless otherwise directed
  • Clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
  • Ability to perform physical demands such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions and lifting over 50 pounds
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively using English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly, approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces sparkling clean and well-organized
  • Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests while cleaning with a smile, preferably by name
  • Complete operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
  • Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with nametag and smile
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate willingness to go beyond traditional roles
  • Collaborate to create welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Respond to all guest repair requests and document completion
  • Keep preventative maintenance work up to date following the PM program
  • Ensure safety measures and health codes for pool and spa are followed
  • Report emergency or life safety concerns promptly
  • Conduct full property walks at beginning and end of shifts
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas during and after shifts
