  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled times
  • Must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a shift
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Ability to perform physical demands such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, and repetitive motions

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of related work experience in commercial facility, hospitality or similar field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to provide excellent hospitality and guest service
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use the guests’ names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
  • Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores by working cooperatively with all team members
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology efficiently for the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces, both front and back of house, clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time each shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports for effective communication
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards per handbook
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to go beyond traditional role
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
  • Respond to all guest repair requests and document completion effectively
  • Keep all preventative maintenance up to date and on schedule
  • Follow safety and health codes including pool and spa compliance
  • Report emergency or life safety concerns to supervisors immediately
  • Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and organized during and after shifts
