Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Ability to clock in and out for breaks at designated times
- Provide sufficient notice when calling out from scheduled shifts
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting over 50 pounds
- Ability to follow established safety and health codes
- Ability to respond promptly to emergency situations
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
Job Qualifications
- Technical trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial facility or hospitality
- Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Effective communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fast paced environments
- Strong commitment to hospitality and guest service
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Age 18 years or older
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together to contribute to excellent guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Understand and use relevant technology for the role
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized both front and back of house
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests by name with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on schedule
- Prepare accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear clean approved uniform and be well-groomed per handbook
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Exhibit a can-do attitude and collaborate to create a welcoming environment
- Respond to repair requests and document completion via electronic work orders
- Keep up to date with all preventative maintenance work per hotel program
- Follow all safety and health codes including pool and spa areas
- Report emergency or safety concerns immediately
- Conduct full property walks at beginning and end of shifts noting maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas during and after shift
