Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of related work experience preferred
- Positive and willing to learn attitude
- Ability to follow guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work under pace and pressure
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Strong communication skills
- Desire to provide excellent hospitality and guest service
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality with clock in and clock out
- Compliance with break schedules
- Provide sufficient notice for call outs
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in commercial facility maintenance, hospitality or related fields preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective listening, conflict resolution and communication skills
- Strong desire to serve guests with hospitality
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Greet guests and ensure positive guest relations using their names whenever possible
- Handle guest satisfaction and resolve challenging situations with urgency and hospitality
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities, amenities, and events
- Use relevant technology and demonstrate proper phone etiquette
- Keep all workspaces spotless and well-organized including guest rooms and public areas
- Pitch in with cleaning duties as needed across hotel spaces
- Complete operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy and submit timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean and approved uniform, maintain a professional appearance, and smile at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Show a can-do attitude and collaborate effectively to create a welcoming environment
- Respond promptly to repair requests and document completion through electronic work orders
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance according to the hotel's PM program
- Follow all safety and health codes, including pool and spa regulations
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts noting maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
- Report emergency or life safety issues to supervisors immediately
