Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled ending times
  • Must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out from scheduled shifts
  • Must be able to perform physical demands such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting 50+ lbs.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
  • Desire to serve guests with hospitality and excellent customer service
  • Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to punctuality and adherence to scheduled shifts
  • Ability to use electronic work order platforms
  • Proficiency in English for reading, writing, understanding, and communicating

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to excellent guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Utilize relevant technology effectively in the role
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized, both front and back of house
  • Pitch in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
  • Complete all operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy on every shift
  • Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards with a smile
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Exhibit a can-do attitude by going beyond traditional role requirements
  • Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
  • Respond promptly to all guest repair requests and document completion
  • Maintain preventative maintenance work on schedule according to the PM program
  • Follow all safety and health codes, especially pool and spa area regulations
  • Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts, noting and addressing maintenance needs
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and organized during and after shifts
