Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled ending times
- Must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out from scheduled shifts
- Must be able to perform physical demands such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting 50+ lbs.
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve guests with hospitality and excellent customer service
- Ability to work well under stress and in high-pressure situations
- Commitment to punctuality and adherence to scheduled shifts
- Ability to use electronic work order platforms
- Proficiency in English for reading, writing, understanding, and communicating
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work collaboratively to contribute to excellent guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Utilize relevant technology effectively in the role
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service and approved greetings
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized, both front and back of house
- Pitch in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
- Complete all operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy on every shift
- Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards with a smile
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Exhibit a can-do attitude by going beyond traditional role requirements
- Collaborate with all team members to create a welcoming environment
- Respond promptly to all guest repair requests and document completion
- Maintain preventative maintenance work on schedule according to the PM program
- Follow all safety and health codes, especially pool and spa area regulations
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts, noting and addressing maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized during and after shifts
