Job Requirements
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns of co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at the scheduled time unless directed otherwise
- Must clock in and out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice for call outs as directed by supervisor
- Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
- Work together with all team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Use relevant technology and answer phone calls with friendly service
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Always greet guests with a smile and name during cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists with 100 percent accuracy every shift
- Ensure shift handover reports are accurate and timely
- Wear clean, approved uniform and present a professional appearance with a nametag
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Show a can-do attitude to meet the business and guest needs
- Collaborate to create a welcoming guest environment and positive workplace
- Respond to guest repair requests promptly and document completion
- Keep up-to-date with preventive maintenance schedules for rooms and public spaces
- Follow safety and health codes including pool and spa regulations
- Report emergency or life safety concerns immediately
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of each shift noting maintenance needs
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance areas during and at the end of shifts
