Job Requirements

  • Must have a technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to follow guidelines and procedures
  • Capacity to handle pace and pressure
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hospitality and guest service orientation
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must clock in and out timely
  • Provide sufficient notice for call outs

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Effective listening, conflict resolution skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Punctuality and adherence to clock-in/out procedures
  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel properly welcomed
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Respond to guest repair requests promptly and document completion
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on rooms and public areas
  • Follow all safety and health codes including pool and spa regulations
  • Conduct full property walk-throughs at the start and end of shifts
  • Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed per company standards
