Job Requirements
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift
- Must clock in/out for breaks at the designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift
- Must be physically capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting objects weighing 50+ pounds
- Must read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use the guests' names whenever possible
- Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Properly answer all incoming calls with friendly service
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
- Complete operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Submit accurate handover reports for effective communication
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Stretch beyond traditional role to meet business and guest needs
- Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Respond to guest repair requests and document completion
- Keep all preventative maintenance work up to date and on schedule
- Follow safety and health codes, report emergencies promptly
- Conduct full property walks at beginning and end of shift
- Keep maintenance areas clean and well-organized during shift
- Arrive and clock in/out on time
- Follow all break and call out procedures as directed
