Job Requirements
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns and issues raised by co-workers and guests
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must have a desire to serve all guests
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays based upon the demands of the hotel
- Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at the scheduled shift ending time, unless otherwise directed by supervisor
- Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
- Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to make them feel welcomed
- Contribute to great guest satisfaction scores through teamwork
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
- Support hotel groups and events actively
- Use appropriate phone etiquette with approved greeting
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests while cleaning with a friendly demeanor
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
- Submit shift handover reports promptly and correctly
- Wear clean, approved uniform with name tag and smile at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Exhibit willingness to go beyond traditional role boundaries
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Respond to guest repair requests promptly and document completion
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedule for rooms and public spaces
- Follow safety and health codes, report any concerns immediately
- Conduct full property walks at shift start and end, note maintenance needs
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized throughout the shift
