Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time and clock out at scheduled shift end
- Ability to follow break schedule and provide sufficient notice for call outs
- Ability to carry out physical tasks including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions of the wrists/hands/fingers, and lifting over 50 pounds
- Must be able to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work well under pressure and in stressful situations
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly
- Ability to understand and adhere to safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to listen, understand, clarify and resolve concerns raised by co-workers and guests
Job Qualifications
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
- At least 2 years of work-related experience in commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective listening, conflict resolution and communication skills
- Desire to serve guests with hospitality
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and during their stay
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Use relevant technology effectively
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
- Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed
- Greet every guest with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists with 100% accuracy every shift
- Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and remain well-groomed
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate willingness to exceed traditional role duties
- Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
- Respond to repair requests promptly and document completion
- Maintain up-to-date preventative maintenance
- Ensure safety protocols and health codes are followed
- Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized throughout shifts
