Job Requirements

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred
  • At least 2 years of work-related experience in a commercial facility, hospitality or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns from co-workers and guests
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled time
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

Job Qualifications

  • Technical, trade or vocational school degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Respond to all guest repair requests and document completion through the electronic work order platform
  • Keep up to date with preventative maintenance tasks for rooms and public spaces as per the hotel program
  • Ensure adherence to all safety and health codes including pool and spa areas
  • Conduct full property walks at the beginning and end of shifts and complete necessary maintenance
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas during and after shifts
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance
