Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant nonprofit development or event coordination experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with CRM and event software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit development, community engagement, or fundraising event coordination
  • Proven success in event execution, volunteer coordination, and third-party fundraising management
  • Experience in nonprofit communications or marketing support preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Familiarity with CRM and event software such as Greater Giving and Raiser’s Edge NXT
  • Skilled in social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal abilities
  • Genuine community-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Collaborate in planning and executing logistical aspects of signature fundraising events
  • Manage vendor relations, timeline development, auction item coordination, and registration processes
  • Recruit and manage event-day volunteers
  • Support budget and revenue tracking alongside Executive and Development Directors
  • Identify and serve as primary contact for third-party fundraiser hosts
  • Review applications and oversee third-party event revenue goals
  • Serve as liaison for event-specific volunteers, including training and scheduling
  • Develop volunteer role descriptions and logistics plans
  • Create and schedule event-related social media posts across platforms
  • Assist with campaign updates and event communications
  • Provide logistical support for Giving Society recognition events and donor stewardship
  • Coordinate Leadership Board activities and support Teen Board recruitment and oversight
