Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum of ten years related experience including three years auto dealership experience
- Consulting experience preferred
- Experience with auto dealership processes, terminology, and workflows
- Experience leading Tekion DMS implementation
- Tekion Certified Professional qualification preferred
- Experience managing senior-level client relationships
- Ability to lead and supervise teams
- Strong client service and ethical knowledge
- Ability to break down project scope and lead multiple projects
- Creative problem-solving and analytical skills
- Project management and communication skills
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools
- Project/program management certification is a plus
- Willingness to travel up to 75% and work outside core hours
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum 10 years of related experience including 3 years in auto dealership industry
- Consulting experience highly preferred
- Minimum 3 years' experience with auto dealership processes, terminology, and workflows including sales, service, parts, accounting
- Experience leading teams in Tekion DMS implementation
- Tekion Certified Professional (TCP) qualification highly preferred
- Experience managing senior-level client relationships and working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to lead and supervise others with exceptional client service and ethical knowledge
- Ability to decompose project scope into detailed activities and coordinate delivery resources
- Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously
- Creative problem-solving skills supported by prior experience, education, and training
- Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
- Project experience with full lifecycle application development
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery tools and techniques is a plus
- Project/program management certification such as PMP, PgMP or Agile certifications is a plus
- Ability to travel up to 75% and work outside core business hours
Job Duties
- Lead a team through transformation projects in auto dealership industry focusing on Tekion DMS implementation
- Identify and develop value-added services for automotive dealerships including process improvements and digital transformation opportunities
- Develop, manage, and measure project approach and plans aligned to critical implementation phases and long-term roadmaps
- Deliver product training to dealer staff across sales, service, parts, and accounting departments
- Elicit and define requirements using interviews, workshops, document analysis, surveys, and site visits
- Manage and implement multiple projects through delegation, coordination, communication, and organization
- Ensure all projects are documented including business cases, requirements, and implementation plans
- Manage third-party vendor relationships for development needs
- Act as liaison among executive committee, stakeholders, and development teams including risk identification and mitigation
- Support development of Enterprise Transformation practice in go-to-market activities, delivery methodologies, and team development
- Provide functional expertise based on skills and background
- Network and build relationships internally and externally with clients and community
- Invest in professional development individually and through firm-wide programs
- Support growth and development of team members and clients via the Baker Tilly Value Architect model
- Promote work-life balance via friendships, social activities, and team outings
