Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree
- master's degree preferred
- certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) preferred
- experience in event coordination or community engagement preferred
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders
Job Duties
- work under the direction of the Family Support Services Department director
- coordinate donor engagement activities, event planning, and scheduling
- plan, evaluate, and execute special events for patients with complex or chronic illnesses
- collaborate with internal departments and external community partners to deliver successful programs and experiences
- support family outings and hospital-based engagement activities
- demonstrate sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines or procedures
