Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree
  • ability to work full-time during daytime hours
  • experience in coordinating events or engagement activities
  • excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • strong problem-solving capabilities
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to collaborate with community and internal partners

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree
  • master's degree preferred
  • certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) preferred
  • experience in event coordination or community engagement preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work collaboratively across multiple stakeholders

Job Duties

  • work under the direction of the Family Support Services Department director
  • coordinate donor engagement activities, event planning, and scheduling
  • plan, evaluate, and execute special events for patients with complex or chronic illnesses
  • collaborate with internal departments and external community partners to deliver successful programs and experiences
  • support family outings and hospital-based engagement activities
  • demonstrate sound judgment, strong problem-solving skills, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines or procedures
