Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Professional experience in large event planning or event management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with event management software preferred
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Experience in budget oversight and vendor management

Job Qualifications

  • A completed bachelor's degree is required
  • Full-time equivalent professional experience in large event planning or event management is required
  • Experience with event planning and management software such as Cvent is highly desirable
  • Experience working in university or non-profit settings is preferred
  • Experience with CRM, e-commerce tools, or Canva is a plus
  • Knowledge of direct mail programs, advertising, media relations, and database marketing is beneficial
  • Experience in partnership cultivation and sponsorship development is advantageous

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate Ethics Initiatives events such as competitions, workshops, and speaker series
  • Oversee full-cycle event management including speaker and venue selection, technology support, catering, agenda creation, budget management, and procurement
  • Arrange group travel and handle offsite event logistics
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors and resolve logistical issues
  • Delegate event promotion and ensure timely execution
  • Manage communications and logistics for Economic Forum including registration and sponsorship
  • Oversee event and logistical aspects of the Center for Entrepreneurship programming
  • Assist with planning and day-of coordination for EPIIC events
  • Coordinate logistics for Sport Management events including venue, catering, and photography
  • Collaborate with Faculty Directors to plan and execute Executive Education and alumni events
  • Develop and implement strategic outreach and communications across COB platforms
  • Lead digital engagement strategy, website oversight, and program evaluation
  • Manage communications and engagement budgets with fiscal responsibility
