Job Requirements

  • have valid licensure for EMT, paramedic, or LVN
  • current CPR/BLS certification
  • strong computer and technology skills
  • ability to lift 50lb emergency response bag
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • positive and outgoing personality
  • willingness to work on a PRN basis with no guaranteed hours
  • availability to pick up shifts as needed

Job Qualifications

  • valid EMT, paramedic, or LVN licensure
  • current CPR/BLS certification
  • strong computer and technology skills including EMR software
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • positive and outgoing personality
  • ability to lift 50lb emergency response bag
  • passion for patient care
  • familiarity with occupational health or emergency medicine preferred

Job Duties

  • participate in daily operations at Medcors on-site clinic
  • provide superior customer service to Medcors client and employees
  • assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcors evidence based medicine protocols
  • build and maintain internal team relationships
  • support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
  • pre-employment and post-offer screenings
  • documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
  • physical assessment testing
  • case management
  • medical charting
  • OSHA record-keeping
