Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
- Currently licensed or certified in assigned state
- EMT-Paramedic certification
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
- Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years clinical or hospital setting experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of recognized educational nursing program meeting state requirements
- Currently licensed or certified in the state of responsibility
- EMT-Paramedic certification
- Current CPR and AED certification
- Completion of FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training
- Two years clinical or hospital setting experience
Job Duties
- Determine donor eligibility
- Manage donor adverse events
- Review laboratory test results
- Notify donors of unsuitable test results
- Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs
- Manage employee incidents and refer for further evaluation as needed
- Coordinate pandemic response activities as authorized
