Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to excel in high-stress environment
  • Typing skills of 30 wpm or better
  • Must pass 2-3 weeks of training
  • Pleasant, professional phone manner
  • Ability to learn policies and procedures for facilities and recognizing when to apply them
  • Adapt to frequently changing policies
  • Medical background a plus

Job Duties

  • Answer, screen, and direct calls for entire company
  • Distinguish the need for emergency transportation
  • Pre-arrange transport for facilities while determining the level of care needed for the patients
  • Arrange specialty and critical care transportation
  • Provide information and assistance for customer service inquiries as needed
  • Communicate with multiple departments and EMS personnel
  • Provide supportive information to customers to assist them in arranging appropriate transport
  • Develop effective solutions for customer service issues
  • Direct calls to Flight Desk as appropriate
  • All other duties as assigned
