Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience as an EMS or Public Safety Dispatcher
- Skilled in English reading and writing
- Clear communication skills for radio and telephone
- Accurate data handling skills
- Ability to use assigned equipment efficiently
- Capable of multitasking
- Good typing speed and accuracy
- Basic computer knowledge

- One year experience as an EMS or Public Safety Dispatcher
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Skilled in reading and writing English
- Clear communication ability on radio and telephone
- Accurate information recording, transmission, and reporting skills
- Efficient use of assigned equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good typing skills with speed and accuracy
- Basic computer application knowledge
Job Duties
- Respond to customer needs accordingly
- Understand and implement Emergency Medical Dispatch concepts as per GMR standards
- Allocate EMS resources following decision-making rules and approved protocols
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of paperwork before shift completion
- Complete accurate data entry including State Run Report data
- Generate and verify reports for accuracy
- Assist in locating incident scenes and selecting safe, fastest routes
- Relay instructions from supervisors and emergency information
- Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and rules
- Follow established formats in receiving service requests
- Operate assigned equipment including computer, printers, 911 devices, and telephones
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Maintain competency through continuing education and seminars
- Exhibit positive behavior and interpersonal service
- Comply with information systems security policies
- Perform other assigned duties
