Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred
  • equivalent work experience may be considered
  • 2-5 years of experience in employment or workforce development programs required
  • 1-3 years of experience in supervision management or client counseling preferred
  • proven ability to lead and support multicultural teams and communicate effectively across diverse populations
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and presentation development
  • strong initiative problem-solving and organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • experience with data tracking systems such as ETO preferred
  • budget management experience preferred
  • strong understanding of the Tucson job market and workforce landscape
  • flexible availability required
  • proficiency in English required
  • bilingual ability in Spanish Dari Swahili Kinyarwanda Arabic French or other refugee immigrant language preferred
  • valid driver's license active insurance policy and access to reliable transportation
  • must possess or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law

Job Duties

  • Oversee outreach and recruitment of eligible refugees for the Refugee Supportive Services program
  • provide specialized supervision to the Intensive Case Management Employment Specialist ensuring trauma-informed and client-centered service delivery
  • collaborate with IRC departments including Extended Services Economic Empowerment and Safety & Wellness to coordinate client referrals and services
  • ensure assessment and enrollment processes are consistent and compliant across employment programs
  • liaise with IRC Technical Advisors to ensure effective program delivery and application of best practices across field offices
  • ensure timely and accurate reporting of Refugee Supportive Services program data to funders and internal stakeholders
  • track key outcomes and communicate progress with staff to meet program goals
  • manage the Refugee Supportive Services program supplies budget line and ensure timely spend-down of employment-related expenses
  • ensure services meet compliance standards and are accurately documented in ETO and Box systems
  • hire onboard supervise and train staff on service planning goal setting job search support and case documentation
  • develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations to expand training and employment opportunities for clients
  • provide positive supervision and performance management for staff interns and volunteers under the unit
  • participate in program meetings staff development activities and contribute to a collaborative team-based culture
  • comply with all IRC policies procedures and professional conduct standards
  • perform other related duties as assigned
