Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a culinary environment
- willingness and ability to work part-time schedule consisting of 20-30 hours per week
- availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- ability to handle kitchen equipment safely
Job Qualifications
- 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a cook in a similar fast-paced environment
- formal culinary training is preferred
- strong knowledge of food sanitation and safety standards
- ability to work efficiently under pressure
- excellent teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Skillfully prepare dishes while maintaining a thorough knowledge of food products and culinary techniques
- identify and safely use kitchen equipment
- restock supplies as needed
- properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- demonstrate attention to detail in plate presentation
- assist kitchen leadership in service execution
- prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required
- collaborate with the team to meet guest needs and inquiries
