Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of experience as a cook
  • Ability to work 20-30 hours per week with flexible schedule
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to follow food safety procedures and kitchen protocols
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a culinary environment
  • Formal culinary training preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work part-time with variable shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Skillfully prepare dishes while maintaining a thorough knowledge of food products and culinary techniques
  • Identify and safely use kitchen equipment
  • Restock supplies as needed
  • Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
  • Demonstrate attention to detail in plate presentation and assist kitchen leadership in service execution
  • Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required
  • Collaborate with the team to meet guest needs and inquiries
