Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior restaurant experience of one year or more preferred
- Ability to work a full-time schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform busser duties such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with a team
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- One or more years of experience as a restaurant busser or food runner
- Ability to work a full-time schedule of 7:00 AM to 2:45 PM Wednesday through Sunday including holidays
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for delivering outstanding hospitality
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments
- Willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards
Job Duties
- Collaborate with servers to ensure proper guest service
- Polish flatware
- Set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories
- Ensure ashtrays are clean and available in designated smoking areas
- Clear, clean, and sanitize booths, chairs, and tables
- Reset tables with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, and other necessary tabletop items
- Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from tables and transport them to the kitchen
- Properly dispose of trash in designated receptacles
- Coordinate table availability and communicate with servers, hostesses, and management
- Serve and refill water, coffee, and soft drinks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room floors
